Go to the download page below, follow the instructions, and download the Driver Loader to start the updater. If your computer is running on macOS 10.15, you also need to download the Driver Loader. If your computer is running on another OS, follow the procedure below.

Go to the download page below, follow the instructions, and download the System Software Update Helper to start the updater. If your computer is running on macOS 11, you also need to download the System Software Update Helper.
Type the password for the administrative account.
To load a kernel extension, the message prompts you to allow the application to make changes. Close all currently programs currently running on your computer. Save the file to the desktop of your computer (recommended). After reading the disclaimer, click Download. Do not connect the camera to other any other devices except your computer. Do not open "About This System Software Updater" in the System Software Updater menu as this may cause the Updater software to crash. If the computer does go into Sleep mode and the update is interrupted, the entire update process will need to be restarted. Please do not allow your computer to go into Sleep mode during this time. The system software update will take approximately 10 minutes. Remove the memory card from the camera before starting the update process. Do not remove the battery during the update as the sudden loss of power may render the camera inoperable. Use a fully charged rechargeable battery pack NP-FW50 or the AC adaptor AC-PW20 (sold separately). 
Please close all other application software before updating the system software.
